We explain what is stored on your device and how you can control this data. We also use the term "cookie" for similar technologies, specifying the differences below.

1. Who manages the site

2. What we currently use
Cookies are values automatically sent to the server on requests. localStorage and sessionStorage are browser spaces and are not sent automatically. The current public site does not integrate Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising tools or Google Maps/YouTube embeds. Fonts and main video are served locally.
Functional storage supports the features you request: cart, favorites, compare, and return to form. The "Got it" button saves the information; it is not a consent to advertising. There are currently no optional tracking categories that can be enabled.
3. Storage inventory
iris-shop-v1 — localStorage, provider: this site. Contains product identifiers, variants, quantities and saved lists. It remains until the products/listings are removed or the site data is deleted; it has no automatic expiration.
iris-checkout-draft-v1 — sessionStorage, provider: this site. Keeps form data in the current tab for returning from informational pages. It is deleted after successful submission or at the end of the tab session; restoring sessions is also browser dependent.
iris-cookie-settings-v1 — localStorage, provider: this site. Stores the notification version, the date and the fact that you closed the notification. Validity: 180 days, verified when accessing the website; after the version expires or changes, the information reappears.
NEXT_LOCALE — functional cookie of this site, for the chosen language (RO/RU/EN); session cookie, no persistent term configured. The session restoration policy depends on the browser.
The site administration uses authentication cookies separately for authorized personnel. No login is required to consult the catalog or send the request.
4. How you manage settings
Open "Cookie settings" in the footer to view active uses. You can delete the basket and lists from their pages or all local data from your browser settings. Clearing the data can remove the saved products and form draft and will show the notification again.
Blocking storage completely does not prevent reading the catalog, but saving data between visits may not work. The settings belong to the browser and the device used. If we add analytics or marketing, the opt-in policy and mechanism must be updated before these services are enabled.
5. External Links and Questions
Google Maps and social networks are accessed via links. After opening them, the policies of the respective services apply. For questions or exercising your rights, write to info@iris.md and consult the Privacy Policy.
