Stipa tenuissima Pony Tails

Stipa tenuissima 'Pony Tails' (ornamental grass)

•  Very fine decorative grass with thin, light green foliage that moves elegantly in the wind

•  Height: 40–60 cm

•  Prefer full sun; the more sun, the richer the look

•  Well-drained, light to moderately fertile soil; does not tolerate excess water

•  Drought tolerant after establishment

•  Good rusticity; in wet winters drainage is important

•  Minimal maintenance: cut in the spring, before the start of vegetation

•  Ideal for modern, natural gardens, rockeries, borders or mass plantings
