Thuja Yellow Globe

Thuja occidentalis 'Yellow Globe' is a dwarf variety, very decorative, appreciated for its naturally spherical shape and the golden-yellow color of the foliage.

Main features:

• Form: globular, compact, regular

• Dimensions at maturity: approx. 0.8–1 m high and wide

• Color: intense golden yellow in spring and summer; in winter it can acquire slightly tanned shades

• Growth: slow

• Foliage: persistent, scaly, dense

Planting Requirements:

• Exposure: sun or partial shade (the color is more intense in the sun)

• Soil: fertile, well-drained, slightly moist

• Resistance: very good in frost and pollution

• Maintenance: minimum; does not require frequent trimming

Use in landscaping:

• small and modern gardens

• borders and decorative groups

• rockers

• planting in pots and planters

It's an excellent choice for year-round pops of color, being easy to maintain and very versatile — even suitable for landscaping projects such as those by Iris Arhpeisaj.
